In our long-standing relationship with the Farm Credit Building, Five Star has been honored to provide many remodels and upgrades to the building. In 2009, Five Star performed a chiller and cooling tower upgrade, consisting of a new piping and pumping system. Through the years, there have been multiple suite remodels, including ducting modifications, building automation upgrades to Reliable Controls Direct Digital Controls (DDC), and restroom upgrades. In 2020, we removed an old original boiler for the building and installed two high-efficiency boilers in its place. The multiple boiler configuration provides greater turndown and efficiency, while giving them redundancy in the event that one of the boilers should fail.
